Yasuhiro Tadamatsu (sowale) and saqui ozequi will participate in
the “I Never Read, Art Book Fair Basel 2018” on 13th to 16th June.
They will introduce their own book “BM -Der Mann von dem Buch-”
which written by German and Japanese.
Please drop by if you come over Basel during the period !

6月13日から16日まで、スイスのバーゼルで開催されるブックフェア
“I Never Read, Art Book Fair Basel 2018” に只松靖浩と小関佐季が参加いたします。
このフェアでは、彼らが今年発表した「BM -本の男-」をご紹介いたします。
ドイツ語と日本語で書かれた本で、3月に東京で展示会を開催後、
他のエリアでご覧いただく初めての機会となります。
この期間にバーゼルにお越しの際はぜひお立ち寄り下さいませ。

The exhibition ‘Guruguruplatz’ by Aoi NAGAE will be held from 8th to 16th June at sowale.
Aoi is a designer by minä perhonen, and a picture book writer.
She released a picture book “GURUGURU-CHAN PLAYS HIDE-AND-SEEK WITH HIS FATHER”
by Fukuinkan Shoten Publishers,Inc. in April.
In this exhibition, we will sale the books, and exhibit the original pictures.
In addition to that, the first book “GURUGURU-CHAN”,
and the second book “GURUGURU-CHAN MEETS HIS RABBIT FRIEND” you can have a look.
We hope you will have a lovely time with Aoi and GURUGURU-CHAN !

長江 青（ながえ あおい）
愛知県出身。武蔵野美術大学卒業。
1995年より「ミナ ペルホネン」にブランド立ち上げスタッフとして参加。
現在はデザイナーとして関わる。
2007年から2017年までベルリンに在住。現在は広島県尾道市を拠点に活動。一男一女の母。
2018年4月に刊行された絵本『ぐるぐるちゃん　かくれんぼ』は、
『ぐるぐるちゃん』『ぐるぐるちゃんとふわふわちゃん』（ともに福音館書店）に続き、3作目。

I will have my solo exhibition on 18th till 26th May at sowale, Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
Just a year ago, I had my very first solo exhibition at sowale.
I am happy that I can have a great opportunity to work with them again for an exhibition.

The title of this exhibition is „Freutägliches“. This word is actually a made-up word in German.
“Freude”: pleasure + “Alltägliches”:everyday things = „Freutägliches“
It may be called “joyous everyday things” in English.

One and a half years have already passed since I had moved to Berlin.
And I got used to living in Berlin and I am really satisfied about the life.
Why can I feel at ease even though I live in another country?
– Because I have many „Freutägliches“ in my daily life.
Through my Illustrations, I would like to exhibit a collection of my „Freutägliches“.

*My friends helped me a lot with the title of this exhibition.

My new postcards, other items and moreover the original illustrations are going to be available.
I am looking forward to seeing you! :)
