A phone rang.
She said, “You must be free next sunday for me.”
I opened my diary, then I wrote down her name.
So, now she is the heroine of the day.
I closed my diary, and went to the kitchen.
I grinded the coffee and boiled a kettle.
Until the water boils,
I imagined that she stands in front of a huge canvas,
and she is thinking about what she is going to draw.
There are a lot of ink of colors on palette,
and she look into the canvas with holding a palette knife.
When she made up her mind and took a step into the canvas,
the kettle rang.
電話が鳴った。その日は1日空けておいて、と彼女が言った。
僕は手帳を開き彼女が告げた日の空欄に彼女の名前を書いた。
そしてその日の主人公が彼女になった。
僕は手帳を閉じキッチンへ向かった。
コーヒー豆をミルで挽き、ポットでお湯を沸かした。
お湯が沸く間、僕は彼女が大きな一枚のキャンバスの前で、
そこに何を描こうかと考えている場面を想像した。
パレットには何種類もの絵具があって、
彼女はパレットナイフを持ったままキャンバスを見つめている。
彼女がモチーフを決め、一歩キャンバスへと踏み込んだ時、
ポットがカタカタと白い煙をあげて鳴った。
